Installing Mozilla

You may be thinking, why would I want to install Mozilla when Windows comes with a perfectly adequate browser. Well, first you have an interesting definition of adequate. Mozilla also has a number of features not found in IE like popup blocking, tabbed browsing, and theme support. It also comes with a full featured email client and a WYSIWYG html editor. Best of all you can download it for free here: http://www.mozilla.org/download.html.

Now that you downloaded the installer, you can double click it to begin setup. Click "Next", look at the license and if you accept it should ask which type of install you would like to do. I would recommend the complete install. You can also change the install directory, but this is normally not necessary.

Click "Next" a few more times and click "Install".

Now you get to engage in everyone's favorite pastime, watching the blue lines crawl across the screen. When it is done, Mozilla will start and ask you whether to make Mozilla the default browser. You can also use Mozilla to read your Email.
